2025 Summer Reading Program
JUNE 2-JULY 11
St. Mary Parish Library offers a six-week reading program for all children (Babies-Toddlers-5th grade), teens (6th-12th grade), and adults (19+) designed to encourage reading in a fun, non-academic environment. The goal is to increase READING. All participants are required to log a minimum of 600 minutes to successfully complete the program. Reading only 15 minutes per day will complete your summer goal!

LOG MINUTES
Beanstack is a digital way to participate in the 2025 Summer Reading Program. With Beanstack, you can track the minutes you read over the summer, log activities, and more. There are two ways to use Beanstack: with the free app or online at stmarylibrary.beanstack.org. Registration begins on May 5, 2025.
EARN PRIZES
Participants can earn rewards by reading and logging minutes on Beanstack. The more you read, the greater chance you’ll have to win! Participants who successfully finish the challenge throughout the parish will qualify for a grand prize draw, featuring bicycles, Kindle tablets, art kits, a Keurig and more incredible items!
ATTEND EVENTS
All age programs are offered at each library branch, free to attend. From storytimes, crafts, and STEM activities, there’s something for everyone! For calendars listing events, performances, and activities, check your local library or the online events calendar.
END OF SUMMER FINALE
Celebrate a Summer of Reading with us at an exciting finale party featuring awards, a grand prize draw, games, and treats! Participants will be recognized for their achievements and receive tickets for treats. All attendees will get a punch card for games, with completed cards entered into a raffle for a prize package. Please note: While everyone is welcome to attend, only those who complete the summer reading program will be eligible for prizes and treat tickets. Food trucks will be available for public purchase.
