All Ages-Yay for National Louisiana Day: Gumbo Cooking Contest

National Louisiana Day on November 9th celebrates the state’s rich culture, particularly its food and music. The Berwick Branch is excited to host a Gumbo Cook-Off, inviting patrons to bring their best Gumbo, with rice provided. Entries start arriving at 10:00 am, tasting begins at 10:30 am, and judging ends at noon, with the winner announced at 12:15 pm. Attendees are reminded to consider food allergies when tasting dishes.
